National Service (NS) Documents (for male applicants):

– National Service certificate of service.

– National Service transcript.

– National Service testimonial.

The Application Process

1. Online Application: Log in to the ICA e-Service using your Singpass to submit your application.

2. Document Submission: Upload all required documents as specified in the checklist.

3. Processing Time: Applications are typically processed in 12 months or more.

4. Approval in Principle (IPA): If your application is successful, you will receive an IPA letter.

5. Complete the SG Citizenship Journey: In addition to the IPA, you will also need to complete three activities within the given timeline.

6. Renunciation of Foreign Citizenship: Applicants aged 21 and above must renounce their foreign citizenship(s) before taking the Oath of Renunciation, Allegiance, and Loyalty (ORAL).

7. Oath-Taking Ceremony: Attend the ceremony to complete the citizenship process.
